Only five percent of Louisiana attorneys are chosen for this honor each year and Mr. Lamothe has been included in Louisiana Super Lawyers lists 2008- 2011. To be a member, a trial lawyer must be “unquestionably and eminently qualified and be regarded as the best in their state.”

Karen McInnis
“Over the last 5 years Karen S. McInnis, Esq. has expertly guided our family through legal issues involving our Vermont real estate. We are Georgia residents, and Karen calmly, wisely, and doggedly negotiated with landowners, clients attorneys, town/city/state officials, surveyors, and engineering firms to see this project through to its conclusion. Often there were lengthy delays due to a landowner or his attorney not responding as requested. She repeatedly continued to send those involved reminders which included multiple phone calls, emails, letters etc., so as to keep the process moving forward, all the while maintaining a hospitable, friendly atmosphere to opposing counsel and his client, which eventually succeeded in reaching our expected goals. Although Mrs. McInnis returned to her home state of Louisiana, I was so impressed with her guidance that I requested to remain her client for our Vermont legal needs. We are extremely grateful to have found such an outstanding young lady as well as a skilled attorney. She is very rare in American society today. She actually does what she promises to do. Knowing that she is willing to handle a legal matter for us gives us great comfort knowing it will be handled correctly and professionally.”
– Sincerely, John and Alisca Almy
