As President of the Louisiana Chapter of ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates), Frank Lamothe, recently attended The Southeastern Region of the American Board of Trial Advocates (SEABOTA) annual conference in Charleston, South Carolina. (SEABOTA) was formed in 2004 to unite the members of twelve local American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) chapters in the ten states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.
As a regional chapter, SEABOTA has a substantial number of members, who through the exchange of information, can and do provide a consolidated voice in matters of importance to the legal profession in our region. In addition, a regional approach enables ABOTA’s members, with a sometimes geographically different perspective, to present a tailored approach to the promotion of ABOTA ís goals of preserving the Seventh Amendment and the enhancement of the honor of our profession through our ideals of professionalism and civility in the practice of law.
